Mixergy tanks are built with the future in mind. That’s why we offer a 25-year warranty on the tank and 3-years' cover on all peripheral components and electronics.

With a Mixergy Care Plan you get hassle-free warranty cover and even greater peace of mind that your tank is in full working order.

How your warranty works for you

To validate your warranty, your tank must be registered and connected to the Mixergy network. This is important to give you the basic protection that you need, enabling you to access your warranty information anytime through the Mixergy App and portal. Being connected also means you can get the most out of your smart tank.

Just as with any conventional hot water system, to maintain your tank’s 25-year warranty a qualified heating engineer must annually service your Mixergy tank and fill in the accompanying service log record. This typically costs around £100-£120 per year.

Mixergy Care

Mixergy Care gives you hassle-free warranty cover and peace of mind that your tank is in full working order. You don’t need to arrange for an annual physical inspection of your Mixergy tank,  saving you £100-£120 per year.

Instead, Mixergy will take care of your tank using our remote maintenance software. We will also send you a free monthly health check to let you know that your tank is working well.

Mixergy Care Plus

Mixergy Care Plus gives you next level technical support, saving you up to £20 per year as well as giving you ultimate peace of mind.

In addition to all the benefits of Mixergy Care, with Mixergy Care Plus we will also cover the cost of any ancillary spare parts that are not covered by your 25-year warranty, as well as the associated replacement labour charges.

Your monthly Care Plan report

Sign up for a Mixergy Care Plan and you will receive a monthly report to let you know that your tank is in full working order.

Your report will include:

Efficiency performance

We check insulation performance, standing heat losses, heat up rates, boiler short-cycling and energy consumption

Heating performance

We check how your heating system (e.g. boiler, direct electric) is performing

Software upgrades

We check that your system has the latest software update, giving you the optimum user experience and functionality

System monitoring

We check your system connectivity, to help make sure your tank performance data is available

Leaks

We check for slow leaks by monitoring whether there is a constant draw of hot water from the tank

Cleansing

We check that the tank has completed its cleansing cycle to eliminate harmful legionella bacteria

Mixergy Care Plans allow customers to validate their product warranty via remote diagnostics without the need for annual inspection. If your hot water and heating servicing are already covered through a different subscription plan (such as British Gas Homecare) we do not recommend that you subscribe to a Mixergy Care Plan.

Additionally, we still recommend that the operation of the safety valves (temperature and pressure relief valves) are checked on an annual basis by a G3 qualified professional following the guidance detailed in the ‘Servicing and Maintenance’ section of the Mixergy Installation and Servicing Guide, or by using our Tank Inspection Guide.
